1967 Firebird 326 after restoration.

  • Engine: rebuilt, stock size was 326 cubic inches (5.34 liters) with a .030" over bore, equals 331 cubic inches (5.42 liters)., .010" under cut on the crank.
  • GM New Old Stock: quarter panels, door skins fenders, fender extensions, center caps, battery tray, antenna.
  • Rechromed: front and rear bumpers
  • Solid original condition: hood, roof, deck lid, rear panel, trunk floor, radiator support, floors, dash, seats, headliner, rocker panels.
  • New: -Redline- radial tires (as ordered), tinted windshield (per original specification), door handles, all emblems, deluxe interior door panel set, carpet, all steering links, brake lines, fuel lines, weather striping, quarter glass chrome and probably much more...
  • bead blasted: frame, upper and lower control arms, 5 wheels, center link, various underhood parts, underside scraped down to rust free metal coated with 3M rubberized undercoating.

Different than stock:

  • Exhaust:
    Aluminized dual with factory transverse style single muffler nicely tucked over the rear end.
  • Transmission:
    Rebuilt Turbo 350, 40% more torque in 1st gear than the stock unit (replaces the 2 speed turbine 300 which is in storage)
  • Sound system:
    Radio, amplifier and sub woofer box in trunk (I still have the original AM radio with reverb unit).
  • Ignition:
    Pertronix electronic Ignition system (totally hidden under the stock distributer cap). with a black 40,000 Volt Pertronix coil. Plugs gapped to 0.045 inches
