HO. The HO on that sleek machine above means High Output. And
what that means is a 326 cu. in. 285-hp V8 with dual exhausts that
blow the sweetest music this side of Sebring. A column-mounted 3
speed is standard, but you can order 3 or 4 on the floor. Also an
automatic. Bucket seats? of course. Your choice of hardtop or convertible.

Firebird
400. Below, those scoops hide 400 cubes of chromed V-8 that
churns out 325 hp. It's hooked to a 3-speed stick and lashed to
special sports suspension. A 4-speed (or our 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic)
is extra cost, but the wide-oval redlines are standard. So is the
GM saftey package (on all Firebirds). Leave it to Pontiac to do
